Indianapolis

I just got home from visiting a friend in Indianapolis this morning.  I love that city! The weather was absolutely beautiful, the city is clean and the people are really nice. 
Thinking of moving there after I graduate in December...

Oh, and not to leave Kylie out of this post...I got 3 Cds and 1 record for my collection in the mail while I was gone.  More on that another time...

Confessions of a Kylie-holic

It is probably only appropriate that my first post on my first ever blog be about Kylie Minogue.

Most likely the first thing that anyone learns when they first meet me is that I am immeasurably obsessed.

Seriously. Obsessed.

For those who aren't familiar, she is one of the top selling female pop artists of all time with over 70 million albums sold worldwide. However, dance-electro (until recently) hasn't had a noticeable place in the American charts, so the little success she has had in the US has gone unnoticed.  Anyone remember Can't Get You Out of My Head back in 2001?...

I've been a fan for nearly 10 years and finally got the opportunity to see her live in Fall 2009 when she toured the US for the first time in her 23-year career.  I attended the shows in Las Vegas and Toronto over a 2 week period.  In Vegas I was one of the first people in line and waited 10 hours to get my front row spot.
